CNA Classes

The Nurse Aide Training program educates students in basic anatomy and physiology, restorative services, residents/patient rights, cognitive impairment, mental health and social service needs. If you are interested in our vocational school, call today!

Students will learn how to employ infection control practices and provide personal care skills according to individual patient needs. They will also learn how to recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes. The goal of our certified nurse aid classes is for graduates to meet the licensure requirements established by the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS). Upon completion of the nurse aid training program, nursing assistants will provide basic nursing care to a diverse population with emphasis on the elderly and those who are dependent on personal care.
